  Older soudpools in newer version
  I have music maker 2013 installed on my pc, then installed music maker 2018, and non of the soundpools and other instruments could be found on MM2018. I copied the soundpools of MM2013 onto my hard drive. Made a file for soundpools in MM18

  Actually, I have been seeing most VSTs go into the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2 or C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. I've recently discovered that those directories are being used by other apps as the "system default" vst folders.
