  Thank you John. They do appear to have resolved the problem, but the download speeds are still relatively slow? My system is capable of 544mbs downloads and yet the Magix server appears to only be providing between 4 and 6mbs. Cheers Tim

  @Jon-Marinella Microsoft ended consumer support for Windows 8.1 in January 2023 and then Magix also stopped supporting Windows 8.1.  The software can still run well.  Note, however, that any new Music Maker update may break Windows 8.1 compatibility

  @me_again I've changed the size to 320x240, that doesn't make any difference to the speed but the Adjust movie to suit box doesn't pop up when dragging them, It doesn't make any difference if the project is set to the right size & frame rate
