  @claudiojose-j Hello! If the installer explicitly states that the program will not install because you are using Windows 7 you need to upgrade to Windows 10. I don't see a way around it. Are you using Sound Forge Pro 11? I don't think it's outdated.

  @Karen-Scott @emmrecs I've just tested a DV camera on Video Easy 7 and it will pick up the camera and record the video OK (black screen while recording but the transfer come out OK). I think the issue will be as Jeff says: a Firewire driver problem.
