RE: Green screen results: Magix v PaintShop Pro
Hi Terry and John My 2 cents worth on this:- I think you are closer to the mark Terry, in that regardless of what is going on in the image processing to create the frame we see, the effect is applied to a fully constructed image. John's

RE: MEP 2013 YT uploads failing
Hi Guys Terry - I am on Vista 32Bit BTW. I have tried a test more or less identical to yours using a MOV of yours and a jpeg of mine and export went fine at 1080p setting to YT without ticking the "Program Settings >Audio/Video >Hardware

RE: MEP export mpeg4 filesize not related to image size?
I do have a lot of experience working with JPEGs in stills, so I understand the explanation - thanks for reminding me!  Still, I am incredulous that a video file could increase in size, when the output pixel count has been reduced by a factor of

RE: MEP export mpeg4 filesize not related to image size?
hi Prompted by George  - and without trying to get too technical this is why a lower resolution video is not significantly smaller in file size than a higher resolution one - in essence a video is a series of still images shown rapidly one after

Hi Terry What action actually makes the picture change size? A couple of points:- Your JPEG has a width height effect already applied in track one in step 1 - did you do this or did it just appear. What do the size position or section or 3D

Hi, After reading the responses from johnebaker and cpc000cpc, I did my own speed test. Application load time MEP v18 = 25 seconds  MEP 2013= 40 seconds Project load time MEP v18 = +55 seconds for a total of 80 seconds before any work can be

RE: how do I make a stereoscopic title in MEP 17+
My workaround, with an important detail: 1: create title outside MEP (I used photoshop), save as an RGB JPEG (MEP cannot import grayscale JPEGs) 2: import JPEG into timeline track for left eye.  Copy the object. Paste into the second timeline

    cannot import grayscale jpegs
I just finished tearing some hair out, having finally figured out why one of my jpegs wouldn't import into MEP.  I had previously successfully and easily imported hundreds of jpegs, why not this one?? Because it was a grayscale jpeg

RE: how do I make a stereoscopic title in MEP 17+
I did try that, and then the "depth" of the title can indeed be changed, with respect to the screen plane; but (sort of) by definition, it remains a 2d object (that effect indeed only works on 2D objects). So the title remains a single 2D object

Evgenie, Have you gone to 'Help' >> 'Free download..' which might have additional items? This is necessary if you have the dowload version, not the box set of MEP. Effects can generally be copied from one program version to another but

    RE: This Effect
Hi Anirban, It kind of depends on what you want to do with it from a motion point of view.  If you want the guy running and the fire/explosion to be part of the motion, I would film the running guy on green or blue screen, use a alpha channel
