RE: Changing the FPS of a video
Hi To get the Movie (Cinema) look you really need to shoot the original footage at 24fps in Progressive mode so that each of the 24 frames is recorded with all the lines of information at once in the top to bottom scan. However, you can

RE: Rendered version doesn't include zoom edits
Hi Lewis, Hard to say for sure without a fuller description of exactly what you're doing. If you play your movie and you're seeing the zoom effect you applied then the exported movie should also play it faithfully. I'd suggest the areas to focus

Hi Terry, You can apply the Spice effects without touching the keyframes. If you use the Spice effect from the Choose Spice File button, then no presets are applied and, depending on the type of effect, the Spice effect may not be turned on,

RE: Keyframe snapping in Movie Edit Pro 2014
I just composed, and somehow lost, a rather detailed addition to this thread which I won't try and duplicate. In summary: The 'earthquake' template sets keyframes for rotation over the first second and a half. That's 45 frames with unique

Anirban, Right click on your object and pick 'Video effects' >> 'Save video effects...'. You get the option to pick which of those applied to save and then need to pick a sensible file name so that you can find it again -- the default name

    Saving Effects
Hello friends, I create some interesting stuff (with effects, key-frames, fades) but don’t know how to re-use them and again I have to create the same stuff. This takes time and also doesn’t come effectively as the past edition. Someone please

Whalebat, It's yeses -- and nos. When you choose the overall settings for a movie, [E] key sort cut, there is an option to have those settings be the default for any new project. Your effects on individual objects can be saved for future use

RE: I am editing a video that i need to blur out two faces in the same clips
You will need to have the same video in Tracks 1 and 4 to create the effect. However, before superposing them, just start with the video on track 1. Click on track 1, go to Effects, Video effects, Sharpness and apply Blur to the video. Then add

No Video Level Percent - Pro X 6
I'm testing out Video Pro X6, after a couple of years of happily using MovieEdit Pro MX. I've added a video clip, and gone in to Chroma Key, Video Level. There is a slider to lower and raise the opacity of the clip but no visable number value??

RE: Blurring or somehow removing the head of an actor in underlying video so I can place another "head" in it's place
AA4362, You might be able to get what you want by combining two effects -- pixelate (or better simply blur) the background face and then overlay ;your foreground head. I think there is not way to completely eliminate any background head showing,

Terry, I can get your problem if I pick 'Alternative' modes 1 or 2 from the program settings >> display options tab. The other two are OK but it seems if I've chosen an alternative mode I have to close and then reopen MEP to get back
