RE: Making a clock
Hi George, Thanks for clocking in to the discussion! I'm OK with making transparent versions of that clock. But after many tests my preferred appearance is a solid white with black letters and hands, or vice versa. They give the most readable

RE: How to insert футажи with an alpha the channel?
@Terry, Here is the first clock that John showed first. I made the clock white using chroma key, black using alpha channel, and changed the white clock to yellow with color correction. George

RE: Making a clock
Hi Terry, This one is the same as John's first one. I used chroma key to make the clock white, alpha to make it black then color correction and size/position. I have tried to make the clock transparent with no luck. I think the way to go is

RE: How to insert футажи with an alpha the channel?
Hi, I've been trying to do this myself for a couple of days, but I regret the answer is No. I've just had a reply from Magix advising that unfortunately MEP does not support the encoding of material with a defined alpha channel. For a couple

RE: Making a clock
Just received a very prompt and detailed reply from Ralf. It starts: "I'm afraid this isn't something that has eluded you. It's simply something that isn't possible with our video software to the degree that you would require here." Small

RE: How to insert футажи with an alpha the channel?
ev1949, You can certainly import .png images with inbuilt alpha channels (transparency masks). They are regularly used for adding decorative borders. If your футажи (footage) is a video clip with the same type of tarnsparency mask I'd

OT: Displaying transparency in image editors
I'd be interested to know if others' image editors display areas of transparency in any unique way please? In mine, PaintShop Pro 8 (PSP8), I made an image on a green background. I then saved it as a PNG, specifying the green as the alpha

RE: How to insert футажи with an alpha the channel?
Anirban, As Terry said, an auto translation is 'footage'. ev19149's other posting had: Есть ли возможность использовать в MAGIX VIDEO DELUX 2013 футажи с альфа каналом ? which auto translated to: Is it possible to use MAGIX VIDEO DELUX

Hi, If I knew what you meant by "футажи" I might be able to let you know if you could use it as a alpha channel object. What exactly are you trying to do and what media do you want to do. Sorry but I do understand alpha channel but I don't

RE: Effect of the Attachment
Hey Anirban, This is really a very easy effect to create. How to do it depends on if you want to use still images or moving images. Either way, it is still pretty simple. You stack the images one on top of the other, use size and position to

Hello friends, I have attached a file below. It will be nice if anyone would help me to understand how was the effect done. I know that we used mask and then did alpha; but yet this one looks bit complex. Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks kamshing, I'm not sure what you want to achieve. The usual application of chroma key is to place subjects against an alternate background eg (from http://www.mediacollege.com/video/special-effects/green-screen/): If you

RE: Hello Everyone, how do you blur out the side or backgroud, and still maintain a good view of the key talent in front thats on film already?
