Hi. Even if I set Advanced settings to Progressive and click OK, Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 17 always renders the .VOB as Interlaced (I checked with the GSpot Video Codec Checker). Is someone able to try this and, if it's not just me,

RE: Can I generate a new DVD from the "Disc image" files in the DiskTemp folder on Movie Edit Pro 10
Thanks for that. I randomly tried importing the VOB from the DiskTemp folder last night (before your answer :-) as a new MVD and hey presto, all went well. It seemed odd that the VSO app didn't produce any sound, but... Thanks

RE: Can I generate a new DVD from the "Disc image" files in the DiskTemp folder on Movie Edit Pro 10
Hi Thanks for taking the time to answer however, unfortunately that's the point; I don't have what I captured available any more, all I have is the "temp files" in the DiskTemp folder that are created by MEP10 when it's burning a DVD.

RE: Can I generate a new DVD from the "Disc image" files in the DiskTemp folder on Movie Edit Pro 10
Hi jmcabe, all depends on how and what you captured. But if you captured in MPEG or something readable to MEP 10, then locate this file. If VOB files, then you might need to rename to MPG and try to import into the program. If you can get it

Looking at version 7 here, if I pop a dvd I burned myself into the drive, and use the explorer on the right to locate the vob files, then drag and drop them onto the timeline. When I did, a message comes up asking if I want to copy the whole

RE: How to import video clip with invalid file extensions?
68009194, I don't have Video Easy to test, but the Magix web documents don't describe imports from DVD as a regular option. I'd guess you can do so if you change the extensions. VOB files are MPG format files, usually of a fixed maximum size

RE: .vob format moviesample plays half-speed on Video deluxe 15 plus...Why?
I loaded it into the Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus, it plays double speed, if I change the frame rate to 50, it plays correctly, but very jumpy. The audio plays great though. Was this a PAL video that was converted to NTSC to make the VOB?

RE: Saving a file to desktop in WMA
tic15, Several issues with your questions: From what I can find on the web and the Magix help files, *.wma is an audio format, not video. Do you mean *.wmv? If you meant .wmv I'd suggest you use 'File' >> 'Export movie' >>

RE: Can I Burn BUP VOB IFO files ?
mudhen, Should be no problem burning your VOBs etc. Many users take this approach particularly checking the disc image files in a PC player before doing even the first burn. You can skip the MEP burn to disc stage by not having a disc

Hi centuryfox, you can import from the disc, but you won't have the individual pictures listed, just the complete slideshow. Place the burnt disc in your drive, and locate it via the explorer in the Slideshow tab and drag and drop it onto the

I bought Movie Edit Pro 17 a couple of weeks ago, and I've been going through a lot of pain trying to burn a pretty simple DVD with video files (avi) and photos (jpg). I agree with you; no program shoud be this hard to get it to work properly.
