Which version of Sound Forge 15? Is the DJ mix coming from an external playback device? Is it an analog or digital input? Can you otherwise hear the sound on the destination PC?We need more details to help you. Read the 'Sticky' at the head for the

    RE: Lagarith Lossless Codec
@jak.willis My guess would be, and it is a guess, that Lagarith is still recording each pixel separately but how the pixel data is represented may be written differently using slightly less code. It is a 'lossless' codec. There is at present no way

@Richard-Curtis I understand your reticence completely about getting rid of any original material. For me it is about 10" reels of quarter inch tape which has master copies of work I did in studios in the 70s. About 450 of them. I had my tape

@johnebaker @CubeAce Hi John, Ray 1. I believe that one recommendation for this was to use a 2 step process - export the project at the new framerate as MXV (or AVI if you want to archive the project at the higher framerate) and then import the

@Richard-Curtis @CubeAce @Richard-Curtis Hi, Ray, to answer your question, my 8 mm and Super8 mm were digitized using a Wolverine at 1080 20fps. 8mm was filmed at 16 fps so I simply changed 20 to 16 under Speed. S8 was 18 fps, so changed from 20 to

Replying to the last two comments: That is precisely my problem. It does not remember the rotation when the project is reopened, no matter how I do it. I have tried rotating it with another app outside the program, using the rotation tool in the

RE: Uncompressed AVI files give very large data rate
@jak.willis Any 'codec' is an instruction set that tells the computer how to construct the data into a file that can be read by another program. In this case to show a video. Compression or not does not come into the equation. It is still an

RE: Uncompressed AVI files give very large data rate
@jak.willis Basically the data rate is too huge for the TVs processor to keep up with, even if it could read an AVI encoded file. Or the usb flash drive is not fast enough which could be another reason. Last but not least, a lot of digital TVs only

RE: Uncompressed AVI files give very large data rate
@jak.willis Correct. There is neither no gain or loss. Any 'lossy' compression codec means exactly that. Some information is irrecoverably lost. Even if you have a camera that records raw, if the camera is set up wrong and either over exposes or

    RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@VideoPro So the white line becomes the "ceiling" right? Green lines going above that line will not have any impact? The 'ceiling' is when you run out of bit bits in the bit depth selection of the audio recording which is always represented as 0db
