RE: How to connect my Casio keyboard to Samplitude 2016?
Hi Neil, Connecting you Casio to your computer through USB is a MIDI connection. To play back a Midi object from Samplitude: Program settings, MIDI, make sure that your Casio is checked in the MIDI Out column In the Track Editor (the vertical

    RE: Isolate Vocals?
Hi, welcome to the Magix forums. There is software available that will allow for some degree of "Centre Channel Extraction" or "Centre Channel Isolation" if the original recording is in stereo and, ideally, is in wav format, rather than mp3. Also

    Vita presets
I have purchased MM 2019 Premium and the install worked perfectly, until I purchased the Vita presets. They do not appear when I load Vita, only the basic "acoustic drum kit & percussion." Would appreciate help/advise.

RE: How to load 3rd party drum samples into Samplitude Music Studio 2016?
Does anyone know how to do this? I've downloaded the sounds of the Alesis Sr-16 drum machine as wav files, and I want to access them in Samplitude to create drum tracks.

Thank goodness that is not just me. I mean it's not pleasurable that others are having problems, but I am having nothing but issues with premium 2019 crashing over and over and over, most notably when I switch from ASIO over to any one of the other

Q.01 See below. Q.02 Use an external keyboard connected to your computer using a USB or MIDI connection. And just how are you going to press 88 keys at the same time? The pink key is middle C, obviously for orientation. Do you know how to play a

RE: Applying reverb to a snare drum only in a drum VSTi/drum track?
Hi Neil, See this tutorial: You need a multi-timbral instrument. Try MTPowerDrumKit2 - it's free. When you load it, the multi-timbral dialog will pop up. Follow Kraznet's instructions, more or less. This worked for me. In the instrument mixer, I

Applying reverb to a snare drum only in a drum VSTi/drum track?
I've been trying out some drum VSTis and creating some drum tracks in Samplitude Music Studio 2016 using the midi editor. When I add reverb, it adds it to the entire drum track, but I only want to add it to the snare drum. What's the best way to do

How to load 3rd party drum samples into Samplitude Music Studio 2016?
Hi. I've figured out how to load VSTis in Samplitude Music Studio 2016, but I was wondering, let's say I download some drum sounds (samples) of old drum machines etc, how do I load them into Samplitude so that I can use them to create drum tracks in

RE: How to do sidechaining in Acid? Is it possible?
Hi @Matt-Francis there isn't a way to do proper side chaining in acid due to its very limited audio routing. The above video is a massive cludge on getting it to work, and comes with obvious down sides... db audioware has a decent compressor plugin

RE: Supplied music in the MEP free extras.
@browj2 I think if I were to make my own music track I would use Cubase as I have in the past. All my source material there is without such problems as I have my own soundbites, samples, and loops, and the instruments don't have such limitations on

@CubeAce Hi Ray, Further to what John EB said, you can purchase Pro licenses on Producer Planet for Soundpool Loops and other stuff, but I suspect that not everything is available for the Pro license. Have you used the Soundtrack Maker in MEP? You

RE: How to do sidechaining in Acid? Is it possible?
I put the sidechainer vst on my drum track and then place the compressor on the channel I want to compress and hit the key input and it'll start pumping. It one of my many acid work arounds :)

I'm on the 3 month plan. I kind of expect a but more drum loops that this. Program works. I like the idea of the subscription plan overall, but the base library should be significantly bigger to attract more new users and win back old ones.

RE: VSTi problem in Pro 8
Have you set up your instrument track correctly? What are you using to "click" on the drums? Your mouse or a MIDI keyboard? Your MIDI track that is feeding your instrument track has to have the correct input selected. And there is a program setting
