RE: I have Magix Edit Pro 17 Plus. When I drag a JPG file unto a track it appears on the track but it does not show on the video screen. Do you know why this is? When I drag a AVI or MPG file to the track I CAN see it in the video screen. What is causing this
Thanks for your answer, but that is exactly the problem. I see the JPEG appear on the track bar, but when I press play, it does not show up. It works perfectly in Magix Video 2008, but not in Magix Edit Pro 17 plus.

RE: How do I find and place a blank black frame to put titles and credits on?
I do it by simply using a blank slide from Power Point. Open Power Point and set the background colour of the slide to black. Then do a "save as" and you have the option to save the slide as a jpeg. You don't even need to save the Presentation

    RE: [Closed] still image
Put the red cursor in the position of a suitable frame in the scene and export with Alt+M (BMP) or Alt+N (JPEG). The still image will be stored in the export folder, which will be shown automatically.

RE: MEP15- Can you Pause or take a picture from a movie?
Put your red cursor at the postion, from where you want to export a still frame, use Alt+M (BMP) or Alt+N (Jpeg). Store the picture and drag it back to the timeline, e.g. in track 3. Then it will overlay the original video according to its length.

RE: How do I freeze a frame & extend its duration & add titles?
I found a solution where you don't have to export the frame to .jpeg (the results of which were not pleasing for me). You have to copy the frame you want to 'freeze' and paste the copy right behind the frame you have copied. Now you go to video

RE: How do I get normal DV-AVI files to export from MEP 15 Plus?
Hi Steve, MEP does support DV AVI of course - but that's primarily relevant if it's actually DV material you're working with. You're capturing analog material. For most situations and use cases, it doesn't make that much sense to force an export

Thanks for that info cpc000cpc.  I had been wondering if there was a way to do this in MEP for quite a while now. In MEP15 the setting is under the Video/Audio tab instead of System. I tried it out by setting the picture length to 2 frames
