    32.1.0.17 Patch
2 weeks ago, Magix was constantly crashing, then a week ago, it was working just fine, and now with the 32.1.0.17 update it is crashing regularly, won't let me record vocals which I was doing right before the update. The backup copy was trying to

RE: Source audio problem editing footage from Pana GH6
@Bol Hi Rob Thanks for the information, that fills in the information I had, ie that there is an internal microphone in the GH6. Presumably when 4 ch Mic input is set to off, the internal or external mic inputs are recorded in Ch1 and 2. John EB

RE: what software do I upgrade to?
@Robert-Iacampo Make sure to allow microphone access in the Windows 11 settings. Otherwise audio recording gets blocked by Windows.

RE: Removing of Back Ground Sound
@Theuns-Serfontein I think that Sound Forge Pro 18 should also come with a separate installer for the legacy Noise Reduction Suite, which works similar to Audacity. But yes, AI based vocal isolation is a much better method these days. If you don't

Thank you for your comment, but when I click on "R" (record) it says Stereo-recording. Very strange but it records only mono.

@SP. Thanks so much! Actually, after writing my post, I realized that, of course, I could simply swap the L/R leads on channels 3&4, thereby removing the need to swap the channels in sound forge. Can you modify your script to remove that step?

RE: Family History Cassette Tape Project - Tips to Begin?
@Deborah-Wesley Hi Debbie, Good stuff. To get you going, open a project or record. The first step is to get a good recording with the volume set so that you don't get clipping - nothing that goes up to 0 dB, with most between -20 to -10 dB. Take a

Nothing got resolved. SF17+ is bugged in my professional opinion and devs (if there are any) don't appear to give a damn. Tried other software since and all work as expected recording 32 bit float via 32 bit float interface.

RE: Multiple Audio Tracks? How to insert additional audio tracks?
@gary-o Sound Forge is better suited as as an audio file editor for already recorded files or as an mastering tool. For example if you use field recorders, like the ones from Zoom, which have multiple microphones and can record in Surround format.
