Canon for me also, and no problem. It would be interesting to see what MediaInfo reports about the audio content of a Sony AVCHD file as compared with that for a Canon one. In order to perhaps help with this I paste below what it says for the audio

Using my new PhotoStory Deluxe 2017, I tried to burn an AVCHD disc (using a DVD+R disc) and selected the option for "burn standard dvd video to same disc". The disc I end up with will play in my BluRay player, but it will not play in my DVD

Hi If you are getting a M2TS file then you have selected the AVCHD export preset. You need to export using one of the MP4 presets - if you do not see many check the Display all check box in the export dialog as shown below. Note:

Hi The settings you have posted were not the ones I required, however by posting the wrong settings you have enabled me to pinpoint what the issue is. For file formats like MP4, AVCHD, AVI the HDP and H0 files are created in the same location

From what you write I would guess that your files are HD? Certainly, MTS are HD. So, have you tried the setting to Create Proxy files, low resolution copies of your originals on which you carry out your editing but when exporting, MEP will use
