[Solved] Zoom & editan originally portrait sequence guidance
As one zooms and edits, is there a way to just get something like a border guide around the screen area that will form part of the final export? Only want it just as a guide to assist a zooming edit. Or perhaps change the black background screen

[Solved] Travel Maps (version 1.0.1.385) - embedding photos in route
Hi, no issues inserting landscape photos so they pop up when route is animated / played, but portrait photos are not correctly shown, they have a zoomed in / cropped effect, looks like they are coming out in landscape format. If I dont play the

RE: [Solved] Portrait Images-"Echo" Pillarbox Effect on Edges
@AAProds @Scenestealer Alwyn, I was assuming that you knew about the Edge Effects and were looking for a way to apply the effect quickly to 30 images. The next step was to make the transitions. Were you aware of the Edge Effects? There are two -

[Solved] Portrait Images-"Echo" Pillarbox Effect on Edges
I'm doing a slideshow where the millennials are providing some of the images. You guessed it, half of them are portrait! I am trying to come up with a quick solution to avoid having straight black bars down the sides. I've currently got the

RE: [Solved] Is Resizing of 16:9 video to 9:16 practically Posible with Magix?
@rishal Hi, Your screen shows the Project Settings, not the export settings; you have 9:16 but you didn't change the width to 1080 - you have 1980. You have probably done the same thing upon export. That said, it is against my principles to film

@Dale-Bryan Hi Design elements are fairly straight forward to use - ensure you have all the images/video clips on the timeline, select the first object the element is to be applied to and add the element - see video below Note: Different design

[Solved] Movie Settings help - what is the best way now to resolve
Am hoping for some advice on how best to correct what are obviously wrong movie settings so that I can export… I choose as a mpeg. (It should run for 4.30mins and will probably be seen just on computer screens to family.) This is an area I am

Hi Ray. All programs have default settings upon opening and for MMS and VPX that appears to be the traditional landscape orientation. If you don't tick the 'use settings as presets for new movies' in the Movie Project settings section, then you

RE: New Release MMS 2024....
@JCI-21 Hi. Sorry for a late reply, I've been very busy lately. As far as I'm aware there are no sections or effects within the Magix base programs that have those positional arrows, but some third party effects that deal with lighting and camera

@browj2 @Purbear Thanks John, I can't get to my 2023 computer because I can't start it after I put in a new graphics card. NHJ. Magix has obviously upped the allowable portrait export sizes = good. Don't be so harsh on Portrait videos; I quite often

Bad some(!) photos aspect ratio
Photostory 2023 treads some of my photos with bad aspect ratio. For example landscape photo when I went to it's folder looks ok but exploring the same folder second time I see it rotated with fail aspect ratio - as it is portrait, but it isn't!.

RE: Can Not Export 4k or Higher Video in Portrait + MPEG-4 Issues
@johnebaker However to use portrait phone video in a landscape video format, the limitations of doing so have to be accepted, ie it is going to be pillar boxed or have to be severly cropped to fit the landscape format. I partially agree, John.

RE: Video Pro X 14 - How to convert a 9:16 video to 16:9
