RE: My MAGIX software will not cut a DVD to Disc
@CubeAce @rickduley That seems fairly standard to me. Ray, true, except that it is designed for a Dell laptop, not a desktop. I'm not prepared to conclude it's a dud burner at this stage but I have a niggling doubt. 😉

RE: My MAGIX software will not cut a DVD to Disc
First off - I have not forgotten you good folk and the effort you have put into solving my problem with the DVD Burner. I have been ill - one of those winter things that plague geriatrics like myself, not life-threatening but a Pain in the

RE: Stereo not supported - burning disc
@BrenyC, @CubeAce Hi Brendan, Ray Ray:- . . . . I'm wondering if this is another problem that has been caused by a high differentiation of frame rates (28 frames per second difference) . . . That is one component that can be fixed by converting all

RE: My MAGIX software will not cut a DVD to Disc
Finally - installed new DVD Burner (same make/model) - and I have just successfully cut a DVD. 😀 My thanks to all who worked so hard to solve this problem for me. I am sorry that it turned out to be a wild goose chase it's just that I have never

RE: Stereo not supported - burning disc
@BrenyC I just tried a BD test burn to ISO in MMS 2025 with a similar file (AVC, frame rate 18-31, AAC Stereo audio) and I had no problems (I'm not on my burner machine). Mine was already set on Stereo in the Burn>Encoder Settings>Advanced

    RE: DVDs cut don't play
@rickduley Hi Rick . . . . Blu-Ray. I thought it had gone the way of VHS . . . . Not yet, it is still quite popular, however there are fewer BD Burner and disc manufacturers. DVD's are nearly on the extinction list, the low resolution of 720 x 576

    RE: Making Blu-rays
Hi Ray. I’ve only ever burned BluRays on this external BluRay burner which I’ve had for over 7 years now. My old laptop just had an internal CD/DVD burner but since I’ve had this current laptop (12 months old) I’ve not had occasion to burn either a

@CubeAce Hi Ray Comment adjusted . @rickduley Hi Rick The mts file burned to DVD via ISO file with no issues for me - I used a spare burner of the approx same age as as the one in your PC, burning the ISO file using Windows Explorer in Wndows

I edited the post, but did not delete it. In short: 4k 50fps films, I assemble in Vegas, previously I burned discs (with menu) in DVD Architect. Currently it is not possible because DVDA does not support 4K I'm just looking for a program like DVD

RE: Bluray Burner Problems and Multi-Language Bug in VPX16
@CubeAce Hi Ray, Thanks for the info. As I feared, I'll need a new burner. As for delivery methods, the disks in nice cases rarely get lost...and probably rarely viewed. But, I like the menus and everything. One of us should start off a thread on

    RE: Bluray playback issues
Not sure why it showed only 1x My experience has been that a burner defaults to 1X when its firmware doesn't recognise a disk and consequently doesn't know the best way to burn it. As for disks, they were not all equal even in the days when there

@johnebaker Hi John EB, It's all very confusing. I'm still shopping for a BD burner. Here is a burner that purports to burn Ultra HD 4K and it comes with an M-Disc. What is an M-Disc? Does it really burn to 4K and if I have a 4K disc playing with my

@johnebaker John, sorry, by "disk activity" I meant disk in the DVD drive. I just did another burn to ISO using the CPU and it went through OK. Looking at my HDD, same, almost nothing (~6%), which is probably expected as the data write rate would be

@rickduley Hmm, that's a worry. 1hr24 would be too long for me shopping unless I was in Bunnings! Anyway, as I said, first things first. Put your "burner" onto "Image Recorder" so you don't waste DVDs. How much RAM do you have in your machine? Task

RE: What is the Movie Studio minimum requirement for Blu Ray burner for PC
@Rudolph-Wesel Hi Rudy . . . . Magix Movie Studio software identifies the burner as a Pioneer type burner, and its not at all Pioneer brand. I suspect here's some kind of mismatch even though there's no error. . . . From information I can find the

@Maju.M EDIT: Hmmm. It seems that Maju.M deleted the message or something. I answered for nothing. Hi, In order to burn 4K to a disc, you would need a 4K/UHD Blu-ray burner that can actually do it and a writable 4K/UHD Blu-ray disc. To watch it on

@donjen33 Hi. I do have old DVD disks as well that no longer work. They look fine but all have failed recently. I have newer CDs that burn (admittedly only with audio) so I suspect my discs but it may be the burner only need cleaning. Like I said,

RE: My MAGIX software will not cut a DVD to Disc
@rickduley So it appears that the ISO is OK, so that probably removes the Magix encoding part of the process from the culprit list. Sorry, the "Adapt bitrate" button is visible in the Encoder Settings of the Burn dialogue. I'm downloading your ISO
