I have MM2016 and starting to have problems with Soundpool samples are fine if left at their native tempo, but as soon as I change them, they disort and/or go silent after a few soconds. I have reinstalled Music Maker and still the same. Any ideas?

cannot import (expensive..) soundpool

so, ive never really had any problems importing soundpools in the past, with the exception of the free country vol1 , and drum and bass.wave (or something) but that was cheap so i was fine using it from the 'import database' . to cut to the chase
