    RE: Kodak C330 audio
@nicolesharp100 Nicole, VP9 is a propriety codec. Magix will not open VP9s, I assume because it is a paid program. Free programs can open all of those "free" codecs (although I note that, even with the VP9 decoder from the MS store installed,

    RE: Export Video as AVI
@Jamil-Taylor The MP4 export created at a lower video average bitrate is significantly larger than the DivX Pro conversion  Just go into the advanced Export settings for "HEVC" and change the average bitrate to 8000 (to allow for the audio) and set

RE: H264 Export Frame Rate of 16.67 Possible?
@browj2 In my case, the project is set to 29.97 fps. The original video was 20 fps, changed to 18 fps under Speed. A project of 24 or 25 fps would probably be more suitable, obviously with less frames having to be created. In any event, is the

RE: H264 Export Frame Rate of 16.67 Possible?
@AAProds It's a few years now since I did all my Standard and Super 8 off a screen. 16.67 x 3 = 50.01 hence the match. Most projectors had a three bladed shutter so each frame was shown three times. It was still only 18 fps but 18x3 i.e 54 "flashes"

RE: Export fails halfway through with undescribed error.
Thank you, John. Via Mediainfo, I can see that the file is a constant 30fps.There is no effect added to the clip, other than a transition from the previous clip - the same 8-frame crossfade that's between every other clip up to that point in the

Thanks again for the response. Correct on the image format, they are YUV 8bit 4:2:2 in the bt470bg (601?, PAL?) colorspace. Couple of things of note, I'm in the US thus have it set to NTSC (I noticed PAL in previous posts). While I do have an NVIDIA

RE: Magix Short Video on hiding moving objects in Movie Studio
@browj2 Hi John. It's definitely Hide. I recognise the tool bar in use. Useful for short clips shot at the correct angle to a usable background and a subject that is separated from other interacting objects. The faster the frame rate in my

RE: new bug in MS2023 Platinum / import PNG image generate FROM MS2023
@browj2 Hi John. Is there not a setting within Corel to produce CFR files? Again, sharp increases or decreases of frame rate (15 fps to me would seem quite an increase / decrease if sudden.) It may not be all files as some frame rate could ramp up

RE: How to render with custom frame rate
@johnebaker John, in my case, the VFR is 55.901 to 64.795, published and real frame rate 60.00. Changing the export rate to 59.67 should not cause such a huge error in run time.

@eSonOfAnder Hi, Sorry if you interpreted my comment as snide. It was intended to be instructive and to avoid confusion as other readers of the forum may not understand what you meant when you used Hz for frame rate instead of frames per second

RE: Why are 23.97 movies being exported as 23.98?
@Not-Applicable Hi There is nothing to fix, the 23.97 the cause is the precision to which the frame rate is specified in this case the true framerate 23.976 round up to 2 dec places 23.98. You are getting the 'odd' frames per second because you are

@Gid I understand what you're saying re the fps difference but I didn't re-encode to 25 fps, that's what I don't understand. I use MyMP4Box to demux to the file's raw formats then put them back together without re-encoding. The original file had

RE: Moving animated text to another position on the screen

That's what I was getting at. My earlier pic was "half wave form". Here's the full wave form: If I come across a "zit", I can zoom in and pick a frame that is close-by but with less signal (one way or the other). In this case, frame 06 has a bigger
