RE: recording from a hard drive video recorder
Your hard drive video recorder will surely create digital recordings, which means that you do not need the USB video converter for analog to mono when transferring to your computer. You just need some software. If you want different options, MPE 16

RE: How do I pull certain parts of a DVD out of a football game on DVD
You would need to load the entire VOB and edit out just that material you want. You could also capture the DVD video during playback if you have a analog capture card and your DVD player connected to that, but you will lose quality doing it that

RE: [Closed] Why do I get black/blank spots in my movie?
Dropped frames How was the video captured? Usually this happens during the capture process from analog capture devices, and it can be the cause of resources and drivers that are used. I had this when I was capturing on VHS recordings and

Thanks - you're right, Samplitude just sounds ludicrously good!  They were bragging about their 92 (!!!) BIT sampler when I bought it, and for good reason. It has an almost analog warmth too it - and I just about barf by comparison when I hear

RE: I have a musician friend that has the original DAT verision of his song. Can MAGIX PRODUCER import and edit this
From my understanding of Digital Audio Tape (DAT recording you will need a program to "decode" the digital information from the DAT to an analog signal then back to digital (unless you can rerecord the playback direct to digital). The digital

There is a whole bunch more information needed before an answer is possible. If the program is not "seeing" the VHS deck then you have a connection or compatibility problem. Try plugging in the USB cable to a different port and see if the

Hi Steve, MEP does support DV AVI of course - but that's primarily relevant if it's actually DV material you're working with. You're capturing analog material. For most situations and use cases, it doesn't make that much sense to force an export
