How to record a riff in reverse

How do I edit S-VHS video tapes

Whenever I attempt to edit a s-VHS video the preview screen image is garbled. The audio portion is OK. The results are the same regardless whether I specify and use a composite or s-video input. Any suggestions?

I have reloaded mm12 deluxe after my hard drive died and now that I am opening my compositions, because I used clips from the demo files in 'my audio vide' file, now that it has been reloaded it cannot link them into the compositions anymore. Help!
