@martin-brennan Hi Martin. I'm not using Quicktime alternative codec but the last Windows QuickTime release and not having any problems with mov. files within MEP. Maybe that would be worth a try? You don't even have to download the whole player but

a further update to this: I created an mp4 clip for our Halloween window projection only six weeks ago - using .mov files from this same bought/paid collection. So these .mov files were fine with MEP six weeks ago. Since that time, Magix constant

Hi Terry - already is MEP running as Admin. This is stupefying. Really. Magix should have a proper fix for this - it's been an off/on issue for years. when Apple removed support for QT Magix should've made sure that something more efficient than

OK. More work done. My copy will not work within MEP or VPX. It does work as a stand-alone program and produces files that are giving a transparent background or alpha mask if you prefer in the mov. format that windows can't play. They are playable

@johnebaker Hi John. Thanks for the reply. I've no idea why or how Titler Pro 6 started to work again or why it can be launched as a stand-alone plug-in. I would have thought it would only be available inside of MEP or VPX. Thanks for the heads up

@LOUIS-SIMON Hi, Further to what John EB indicated, if you can successfully import an mov file, you can export it as an MP4. But why do this? MEP is a video editor, not a file convertor. If all you want to do is to convert a file, get and use
