Hi @CubeAce,   Below is a Mediainfo for the original file. It was taken with a Panasonic DMC-TS3 camera back in 2015. Thank you for any help -- GeneralComplete name                            : C:\Users\AndyMo\Videos\Handbrake OUT\10 - 26 - Fortress

RE: Movie Studio 2023 glitchy and crashing
Below is the Media Info from one of my files. As far as 3rd party plugs go, I haven't used very many as I am just getting to work out this platform. But what I have used is from Native Instruments: Reaktor 6 Fx, Replika XT. And a few Waves effects:

RE: Video Deluxe does not import .MOV
@Leon-Spoor Hi Assuming from the patch number you mention the program is VideoDeluxe 16. MOV is not a video codec it is a 'container file' format which can have many different types of encoded video formats in it. MOV files which have the video

RE: dvd burn will not play on dvd player (Movie Edit Pro 2022 Plus)
Well, the good news is that's it is working properly now. The bad news is that it took several days of fooling around. But should anyone else read this, I'll go through what happened. First of all, the discs that I burned would not play on a BluRay

I record in MXV then export in MPEG2. Funny I tried exporting in MPEG4 but the quality is considerably worse. There are no AV inputs on my camera, unfortunately. My VCR does not have an S-Video output socket. I just used a SCART adapter with an

RE: VHS capture quality is very poor
@cmclernon Great stuff. MXV is not such a bad option; I think I mentioned it seems to be a lossless-type of format which will give you better quality for editing than MPEG 2. The only downside with MXV is that it cannot be read by external programs,

RE: HEVC/H.265 files in Magix 2021 premium
@CubeAce Ray, just for the sake of accuracy, HEVC is a codec. MP4 is the wrapper (or container) for both H264 (AVC) and H265 (HEVC). Of course, Magix doesn't help by failing to include HEVC in the "MPEG-4" export menu! 😂

RE: An error has occurred during export with an external video codec
@tami-0 Hi. Did you look up the upload requirements for Filmhub? They seem very stringent and should be followed as closely as possible. Your attempts so far have been wrong for being over compressed and in one instance interlaced which is not

RE: VHS capture quality is very poor
@AAProds Hi Alwyn . . . . I don't know why Magix persists with providing the field order option for export.. . . . The most likely answer is because not all MPEG 2 are BFF, My first Sony camera was TFF - recorded direct to hard drive. . . . .

RE: VHS capture quality is very poor
@cmclernon Thanks. I would proceed as JohnEB has suggested; you want absolutely the highest quality you can get, and MXV should give that to you. After you have your MXV, then you can export it to MPEG-4 as full HD. It is a pity that these manuals

@ericlnz Hi Eric. When I decide to use an all I frame export I normally exceed the bit rate of the original file so the lowest bit rate corresponds to the highest bit rate of the file being processed. That normally give me a constant rate exported

RE: captured video very poor quality while playback on TV is perfect
@CubeAce @CubeAce When you record the video you must get the interleaving correct at the recording stage or it will never show correctly as the interleave is 'baked' into the recording and altering the field order after in playback will only make

@Gerry-Lawson It sounds to me like you've got a mid-frame ending on clip 1. Zoom right in and go to the end of clip 1. Now, move the Play marker 1 frame to the left, then hit U. This will trim off the end of the clip, from the Play marker position
