Updating / Upgrading present and future concerns
Greetings, I'm constantly being bombarded with emails to update or upgrade my MS2025 Premium to VDL2026, even more so over the past couple of weeks. I'm sure the same applies to all their other video and audio users. If "new" Magix still runs true

I installed driver version 595.79 today 4/5/26 because of the Mixdown error message. Everything worked fine on March 29, 2026. So something changed in the Magix software.

@peter1968 I read a comment on Reddit some weeks ago from a former support staff member who worked for 10 years at Magix. In December they get like 80% of their yearly support request volume, because all kinds of users want to finish their yearly

@John-Wurm If you see a preview you are basically good to go. Have you tried to record with another software, for example OBS https://obsproject.com/ or the new trial version of Magix Video Deluxe or Magix Vegas? Maybe the software version of Rescue

my screens don't look like yours. The camera settings seems to include Magix in the desktop apps portion, which is different than the first sesction. The separate microphone settings does not include Magix, it does not appear in the list which

@Nalmcruto Magix deliberately didn't sell Vegas to another company because it's their best selling product. I'm pretty sure that Magix and BorisFX will continue to cooperate in the future regarding Vegas.

Hi, thanks for your response. Here is what I did. I indeed checked my spam folder daily, and no emails from magix. I indeed sent an email to Sales@magix.net which automatically generates an AI email back. I forwarded the automatic AI generated email

The lack of response to my tickets has given me valid reason to not want to purchase anything from Magix again. Support used to be really great. What has happened guys?
