RE: Trying to trace a route along a map of the Yangtze River
@FF22 Hi, You're going to need to increase the duration and then adjust the keyframes. Your KF's are too close together where the change is too quick. If you want to trace a route, why don't you try Travel Maps (Edit, Wizards, Travel Route

RE: 36 Hours of Testing MEP Premier Settings For Playback and Export.
@Scenestealer @pmikep @johnebaker Hi guys. Thank you all so much for the feedback. It made me sit down and have a long hard think and some of the feedback was quite useful in other ways, making me think about various aspects of settings outside of

RE: Script Error when launching Travel Route utility
@emmrecs Regardless of how I answer the "continue running scripts" prompt, the travel animation screen loads (see attached image) and displays a light blue background where the map is supposed to be. At that point, zooming in/out has no effect, and

RE: Creating camcorder effect?
@emmrecs @Kraznet If you look up camcorder effect on the internet it comes up with basically changing the aspect ratio to the older analog screen sizes and changing the colour profile. Perhaps adding bit of softening to the image. It won't be as

@kenneth-s@kenneth-s The .mmm files cannot be opened in Music Maker because they are not project files for that program, they were an early multimedia file format. Microsoft Bookshelf was an electronic dictionary program that contained various

RE: 36 Hours of Testing MEP Premier Settings For Playback and Export.
@johnebaker @Scenestealer Hi Guys. Well I've gone through all the effects used. They are all MEPs own as are the fonts used. Not Android as I first tried to remember but Ethnocentric and Arial. So the list of effects in no particular order or

@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . . If I sent the whole project would it not include the settings ie, frame rate frame size etc? . . . . The only things to be lost would be graphic GPU settings and export destinations wouldn't it? . . . . That is correct. So

RE: 36 Hours of Testing MEP Premier Settings For Playback and Export.
@Scenestealer Hi Peter. Taking your last point first. Both were in use when I got the lowest export times. I've no idea why but with one or the other not ticked the export times were slower. I am now getting even more confused while trying to setup

@Scenestealer Yes, I did see you post, and that's why I opted for "Reduce res for improved performance" and No Blue Lightning bolt. Since I only do 30 fps, and since my Display Window is set for a smallish 800x600 view (I'm telling a story, not

RE: Zooming to a specific spot on jpg then holding that spot for x seconds
@FF22 Hi, To do this, you need to understand keyframes. There is a quick way to get going by using Effects>View/Animation>Camera/Zoom shot. There is a good chapter in the manual about this. With a video or photo selected on the timeline,

Had some early freezes
When I started working on my first project using MEP 2020 Plus, I was having constant freezes in the program while trying to move Objects. (Would hang with the cursor showing the finger-thumb grab icon.) And this was for a relatively simple project,

RE: Moving/slotting images and transitions in Timeline Mode
@FF22 Unless you have a simple project with mostly just photos, no music, no overlays (PiP), few titles, do not use Storyboard mode, use Timeline mode. You have to be able to see what you are editing. I have audio and video on separate tracks. I

@David-Cohn Hi, Are you using Video Pro X? The tracks have numbers, so please refer to track numbers. In VPX, track 1 is the bottom or background, track 2 will sit on top of it. If the objects on both tracks are the same size, you will only see the

RE: RGBA video overlay on existing multicam project
Still no support for exporting to an RGBA video file??? Looks like everyone here tried that and nothing works (QT animation, uncompressed, etc.). A PNG sequence won't work for me -- that is what I'm starting with on the timeline. I want to export

RE: Where did the key frames go for Title Templates?
I can install a 3D animated title. But I don't get the pop up xara app that you get. Since Ray didn't see it either, I think it might be because you have MEP 2016 on your system. I'll go to my other box for grins to see if MEP 2016 still works there

RE: Where did the key frames go for Title Templates?
@pmikep Hi . . . . Curiously, I found x3d.exe and several references to xara in my MEP Plus directory. . . . . That means it is installed - can you not add a 3D animated title to the timeline in MEP? . . . . I've removed a lot of components from
