RE: Deinstall current Movie Edit Pro before Installing next version?
Seamus,   I've never had any problems leaving older versions as they are. Each one is not so much an 'upgrade' but rather a complete new program*. The only real upgrades are the occasional patches that get applied and are reflected in the

Ok..   To me, without knowing anything about the error (remember this is a user to user site hosted by MAGIX) I would say that the burner you have is not solely compatible with the burn routines of MAGIX.   Since you need to get

What is your sound card? This sounds like a hardware related error, not a program error. In the program, if you press "P" on the keyboard you open a dialog for the playback information, check to see if you can change the device for playback

You may be a wiz but what tech support says when they email your activation code is that you can reactivate the program only up to three times in case you change your hardware, like getting a new computer. Quote from Magix...... "Please

I'm no IT expert, but I have been able to pull a few back from the brink, so take this for what it's worth. First, we had to make sure you weren't trying to run this on a machine designed for Windows 98.  It doesn't look like a hardware

There was a problem with the driver of the videocard. VDL switched from Hardware acceleration to a save mode. Be shure that the newest driver for the videocard is installed and change the settings back to  "Hardware acceleration" in the settings.

RE: Waveform output device "none" cannot play this format!
Hi, Sounds like the audio driver cannot be interfaced properly by Movie Edit Pro. Might be something that can be rectified by checking and correcting the audio driver settings in the program (see below) or it might be an indications of actual

    RE: Computer keyboard MIDI recording
Hi there, That's probably just due to a long recording latency times. The driver that's configured by default isn't really suitable for recording. Simply switching to ASIO drivers should do the trick. You can change the driver model when you're
