So sorry for mis-typing. Skip the FCP reference. Everything else stands. iPhone 11 30fps video. Created with Filmic Pro 6 (3rd party video app). Thank you again for the MediaInfo tip:  It says: "...at 30.000 FPS, HEVC" Meanwhile, my primary video

@CubeAce Hi Ray It does with video from my Galaxy A20. The biggest issue with variable framerate is with MPEG and AVI files, though some MP4's can be troublesome. Here is a short clip, variable framerate, for you to play with. Fun fact - wind speed

Hi @pmikep@pmikep @johnebaker I've settled on using proxy files and the "Reduce resolution for improved performance" option. I don't know if you saw my comment in a recent post but I am using that option in preference to the Blue Lightning because

    Had some early freezes
When I started working on my first project using MEP 2020 Plus, I was having constant freezes in the program while trying to move Objects. (Would hang with the cursor showing the finger-thumb grab icon.) And this was for a relatively simple project,

RE: Recording from mini-DV camcorder - how to change field order?
Thank you again for your replys! John: The DV AVI capture dialog doesn't seem to have an option, where I could manually choose the field order. But the DV as MPEG dialog has such an option! So I'll try to capture the material as MPEG/bff. Hopefully

@MikaS Hi . . . . I assume that DV-AVI PAL should be bottom field first . . . PAL can be either, are you are mixing 2 different sources of video and resolution eg standard DV and HD video? DV (720 x 576 pixels) is bottom field first (BFF), HD (1280

@ka1n0 Hi Thanks for the Mediainfo data. I suspect your crashing may be due to one or more issues with XVid AVI files, this will occur if MEP video mode is set to Compatibility mode in MEP. In MEP, Program settings, Display options tab, that Video

I have updated to Magix Video Edit Pro 19.0.2.58 and while editing screenrecording AVIs (Bandicam, codec Xvid (CBR) 30fps) it continues to crash. It hasn't been before the update like it. Any chance to roll back the recent update?

Actually I have not had an issue with MEP 2019 or 2020 importing or exporting H265 - I was also referring to XP 11 with the update version I listed - XP 10 and early XP 11 releases worked fine as well - XP 10 was slow to encode but read H265
