  An easier way is to select Freeze Track. Beforehand grab the bottom right square and stretch the object as for many bars as you want. Then klick into the track head area and select Freeze Track (Alt+Shift+F) and the audio track will be generated.

  There is BeatBox 2 Object Synthesizer, and some Vita Solo Instruments. Independence Pro has some Drum Kits, as well. To record it, you need to record arm the Audio (or MIDI) Track and then play the drum beat in while the DAW is recording...
