@CubeAce These are clips from my phone which says 30 but you can see they're variable so they all different frame rates, I quite often just set the project to 30 & click 'Don't adjust' when dragging them in.

@clement5 @johnebaker I've done a trial with "NTSC" movie settings ie 720x480 4;3, and the results are the same: if the image frame is exactly 720x480, the image is stretched vertically to fill the 4:3 window. And not by a "slight" amount either.
