RE: [Closed] Playback stutters: eats up CPU!!
I'm no IT expert, but I have been able to pull a few back from the brink, so take this for what it's worth. First, we had to make sure you weren't trying to run this on a machine designed for Windows 98. It doesn't look like a hardware

RE: Akai LPK25 keyboard with Magic Music Maker 16
Hi, Have you enabled your midi keyboard in program settings You will only be able to use the keyboard as a basic midi controller ... mapping extra contol knobs is not possible in MMM16

RE: It seems I can only use the 7 major keys How about the half step keys like Eb, A
The supplied soundpool samples are what they are. You can't make a minor out of a major, and you can't change the order. That is unless you are a programmer and can hack the software. However, you CAN pitch-shift any sample up or down a half

RE: Korg Nano Key. samplitude 14
Hi there, Sorry for the delay. Was away for a while. So, as far as your problem with the keyboard goes, it basically looks like the system or program doesn't properly recognize the USB MIDI driver in the first place. Naturally, that would

RE: how to get the voices from my keyboard onto magix music maker when the midi cable is connected
In your MM arranger you should see a midi track which is a file that stores the keystrokes you have made on your keyboard - this can be played back to either control a VST instrument in MM or an external sound making device such as your

RE: How do I record MIDI with Casio Privia PX-310?
select your midi controller in your program ...arm a midi track for recording and away you go. I've never used cakewalk so I can't tell you exactly how to do it .... the cakewalk forum might be a better place to ask for advice

RE: Korg Nano Key. samplitude 14
Hi, I don't have that Korg keyboard and have never used it, so I wouldn't know if there are any specific problems. However, if this is just a regular MIDI keyboard with a proper USB MIDI driver implementation and suitable drivers are installed on

RE: Axiom 25 Driving Me Crazy!!! Did I make a mistake...
My answer was a reply to bobbynuts comments about DAW's. ANY MIDI controller will work with MMM,...however, since MMM is not a true DAW, it will have limited functinality. There is no keyboard mapping, pitch bending, or modulation "performance"

Axiom 25 Driving Me Crazy!!! Did I make a mistake...
...in buying one of these to use with MM15? I'm a noob to midi recording and wanted a controller to use instead of the mouse. I thought that the Axiom 25 would be perfect because I've read it's easy for noobs to learn with and I won't have to get a

I use an M audio Oxygen 25 ... works OK with MMM16 but you can't map the control knobs or stop/start/record/ play buttons in MMM or at least I haven't figured it out yet but I have done so in other music programs. Magix Tech Guys - how about an

RE: how to get the voices from my keyboard onto magix music maker when the midi cable is connected
I'm not an expert on what you are trying to do but would you not have to record the output of your Yamaha to an audio track ? The manual says :- All MIDI objects which open external synthesizers via a MIDI interface will have to be converted into

RE: Do I need a usb interface for Magix Music Studio 12 (Vita)?
I don't have music studio 12 - I use music maker 16 but it should be similar to your program. If I understand correctly you want to play a vita instrument and record what you play. You will need to record vita as a midi track - either by

RE: controlling internal synthesizers with external equipment??
Since I don't play keyboard very well myself (yet), I've not tried it, so I am not an expert and you can take it for what it's worth. Obviously, you'll need a MIDI and/or USB interface of some kind. Your USB connection is the simplest

RE: controlling internal synthesizers with external equipment??
Yes, MM-15 will support any MIDI keyboard as a simple keyboard controller for laying down MIDI tracks. MM-15 does not support pitch-bend/mod-wheel messages or other synth controls; only note ON/OFF, velocity, volume, etc. The resulting MIDI

controlling internal synthesizers with external equipment??

How do I reply? Yes, all the MIDI I/O are assigned on each track. It used to work then one day quit working. I would like to see a checklist where I can check every setting from Windows XP SP3 Control Panel to msg6 application settings.

RE: compatible
Sure it will. At the very least you can connect the audio output of the PSR-175 to the Line In of your soundcard, which will allow you to record any of the voices of the PSR-175. With a proper Audio/MIDI interface, you have the option of

Sure. It would help if you told us exactly what you find to be difficult. If you are talking about "drawing" in the MIDI data being difficult, the only other option would be to plug in a MIDI controller keyboard and actually playing it in
