    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
I assume you have no control over the video quality recorded from the Panasonic? @CubeAce @AAProds Yes, there are different recording options on my Panasonic recorder but I always record in DR mode which gives an exact recording of the

@macarrao Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. I don't normally work with 4k video but two things I might suggest to you. Working with 5 tracks of (4k) video is going to tax even a monster system like yours, I suspect, especially since you

    RE: Settings for exporting MP4
@marcusdeman Hi As @CubeAce has commented reducing the bitrate does not create motion blur. However halving the bitrate does create more 'artefacts' as it has less available data per second to encode the video. Typically this would be seen as a loss

@cmichael52 It is a pity that Magix staff don't read these posts, because the specs say their programs support import of MOVs. I have Quicktime itself installed from this page and can open even the current iphone

RE: Transferring Vegas 3.0 multitrak audio files to Sound Forge Pro 15, 16
If you cannot import the audio data directly from the disc because of copy protection, you can likely 'record what you hear' from the soundcard. I do not think that is affected by copy protection. otherwise it would not be heard on your monitor

RE: How to restore Payback Speed to normal?
@goodone2 32 kHz is a very odd sampling rate. It should be 44.1 kHz (CD-Quality) or 48 kHz (modern digital audio quality). With 32 kHz sampling rate you will lose all frequencies above 16 kHz in your recording which is inside the humanly audible

    RE: Burning a DVD
I was finally able to burn a DVD of my Photostory Deluxe slideshow. It seemed that much of the problem was related to outdated hardware. I had to purchase an LG DVD Writer to by-pass the burner in my computer and then a new Sony DVD Player to

@Gerard-McCabe Thank you for the MediaInfo data. Although I'm unsure exactly how much these factors could be the source of your problem I notice the following: Overall bit rate, 83.7kbps, is (I would consider) very low. I would expect a stereo

    RE: VHS made into DVD
@Bigangbo That's great. The file I have only takes me a half hour to re-render. To keep the quality I have rendered the file at a slightly higher bit rate to prevent any compression of the image content and is effectively a constant bit rate

@Bigangbo Thank you. File is now enabled. As far as the sound quality goes, in my opinion it is not at all bad. For the generation of the recording it sounds as if a dynamic mic (or mics) were used rather than an early condenser mic. There is a

@jak.willis So when exporting the 544x576 video in 1920x1080, MEP won’t be upscaling it to that resolution during the encoding process? Only if you do as I described earlier: create a 1920x1080 movie, then import your video. Use the Size and

@cmichael52 Hi. Mov. is a proprietary Apple wrapper either containing H265 or H264 information within them. Most mov files that have h264 (MP4) information within them should be able to be read by the old Quicktime app or the Quicktime alternative
