@scott-james Audacity doesn't support ASIO as far as I know, because it is distributed under an incompatible license. It's odd that it works fine with your setup while SF Pro 18 doesn't. Just in case, do you maybe have the Magix Low Latency ASIO

@bzan That's odd. I would have guess that Magix changed the installer to connect to their servers instead of Sony's servers. Of course, you would need a complete reinstallation, not just a repair.

@AJenn Like recommend by @CRH get an external USB audio interface with its own ASIO driver and connect a headset (or as a better alternative XLR microphone and audio jack headphones) to it. Anything else will get you into only similar problems.

@Andy-Arrow If you registered Vegas 10 at Sony, you can use your old Sony login credentials at Magix.com to log into your customer account. There you should find the installer. I think some old installers were updated to connect to Magix license

@V-S I would guess it should work fine without registration. You now need to select the ASIO driver for your AudioBOX Usb96 under the Audio/MIDI tab in the Music Maker program settings. Click on the Advanced button to open the ASIO driver settings.
