RE: Black frames every 10 seconds or so in video .mp4 import
@johnebaker Different source. This time, I'm pulling in an .mp4 from Facebook (yes... don't ask... LOL), in order to edit. Source video is fine... but black frames show up when I import. Looking at the media info... the file says the framerate is

RE: "Scenes" versus "Takes" in MEP parlance.
@Richard-Curtis Hi Richard, I just tried creating a take and then importing it into a second project. No problem here. I never use takes because I use VPX and even if I was using MEP, I wouldn't use takes. VPX does not allow one to create Takes in

RE: no audio with Canon 4k .MOV files
@Scenestealer Hi Peter . . . . I do not have VLC installed so maybe later versions of MEP / VPX can pick the codec up from there via one of the newer Magix programs' Import QT Reader modules, without needing the Quicktime Import module provided in

RE: Unable to play MP4's, installed Quicktime damaged Magix software?
@Tusk @emmrecs Hi Jeff. Hi Anthony. I am getting exactly the same results as in the Canon problem thread. The file imports to both MEP 2021 and VPX11. Sound does not play in MEP2021 but displays and plays the video portion. VPX-11 plays the both

Cannot import some MOV ProRes files to Movie Edit Pro Premium
I get this message when trying to import 2 of those 4 MOV files into Movie Edit Pro Premium (Ver. 19.0.1.23). As you can see, I have full rights, so, this should not be an issue. Also the disk has 1,5 TB free space. I've tried to use official Apple

RE: Phantom audio "track" or some audio remnant.
@FF22 The recording worked fine and it looks like you haven't split the audio from the video ( I'm guessing at this point as your video shows no images in track one) If track one is video footage then both video and audio are on the same track.
