RE: MEP 2016 - MPG Export options - default recording codec; anti-interlace filter
Hi . . . . Interpolation for interlace material: . . . . AFAICS this option does not have a significant effect on stills from my interlaced footage. I decided to check this with some interlaced footage from my Panasonic GF6 Mirrorless

RE: MEP 2016 - MPG Export options - default recording codec; anti-interlace filter
Thanks for the replies. After reading them, it's occurred to me how one can know if flickering that can be seen on the timeline is due to interlacing, to very quickly moving objects and/or camera shake. (Honest, a few times my cam seemed to

RE: MEP 2016 - MPG Export options - default recording codec; anti-interlace filter
Thanks Peter. I occasionally get short scenes of a few seconds which are very jittery. They've occurred when using any of the video stabilizers. In at least one case, removing 1 or 2 *frames* solved the problem. In other cases, I deleted the

RE: MEP 2016 - MPG Export options - default recording codec; anti-interlace filter
Hi John and Kami All the best for the New year! Only applies to interlaced video - it suppresses flickering when interlaced video is converted to progressive, eg when exporting as MP4. I don't agree with you John but this area is quite

RE: I'd like to know if others are experiencing problems I'm having with MEP 2016 Premium
Hi Peter . . . . Why do you ask? . . . . There are times when using a W/A adapter that I have to turn down the optical stabilistion from aggressive to normal. In these situations if I do not do this you can see a slight jitter as the

Is there a ProDAd Mercalli V4 for Dummies?
I figured out the pan smoothing, but everything else in the dialog box is HUH. The PDF Hel file refers to V. 2. It says "Note: For this effect to work correctly, the correct field setting for the video must be used." I can't find this in the

RE: MEP2016 - now available - Comments?
Hi Kami, Off the top of my head and from what I remember from VPX6 which came with Mercalli V2, V2 opened the external program, executed and then returned the result to VPX6. In VPX7, which came with V4, V4 is a plugin and works within or at

RE: Are any other users of Audio & Music Lab 2016 experiencing 'jitter' on the text content of the screen, especially the lower half? It makes it very difficult to read.
AML2016 Premium - I'm using the trial version and do not have any jitter problems. I also have Win7 64bit. AML is a 32bit program. Have you updated your video driver recently? If not, that could be a problem.

Are any other users of Audio & Music Lab 2016 experiencing 'jitter' on the text at the bottom half of the screen when using this program? It makes it almost unreadable. I am using Windows 7 x64bit

RE: in MEP 2015 Plus, how can I get better output video quality. I get some jitter in the video.
Also, if you created a dvd of your video, have you used either of these settings, one of shich relates to flickering. It is also important to use either pal or ntsc, as the hz involved are different and can certainly cause

RE: in MEP 2015 Plus, how can I get better output video quality. I get some jitter in the video.
When you say you get video jitter, do you mean you used Movie Editor Pro Plus to edit, and then create an mp4 of your video, or a dvd containing your finished item, or are you experiencing jitter as you preview your video in the programs preview

RE: in MEP 2015 Plus, how can I get better output video quality. I get some jitter in the video.
I think it would help if you were to tell us to what format you are exporting your footage. If your output is to DVD then there will be a noticeable loss of quality when compared with your original footage; it is a "feature" of the DVD

iFletcher, Thanks. It happens all the time. Short. Long. it doesn't matter. It is never synced from the beginning, and it seems consistent in its time lag. Video starts...then sound. I am just trying a simple single guitar practice

RE: proDAD Mercalli V4 offering - 25% discount - anyone using it?
@Peter, I don't think that the plugins are available; I saw no evidence on the site. There is a comparison table on the site and the only version with a plugin is V2. The email defines the "+" as follows: "Why the “+” in the name? That's

Just a small point guys - Windows 64 bit Home can not utilize more than 16GB of RAM - should be plenty though. I agree with George - HD Mov's really cripple MEP. What you may be seeing on the DVD render may be (inevitable) artifacts caused by
