RE: Wishlist for the next Music Maker!
Lets say I want to hear track 10 (which is midi and has vst) playing some other sound (patch). When I close the vst, the name of the new patch doesn't update into that field which has the name of the patch (or sample). At the starting screen there

[Closed] Vegas Pro 19 screen capture not showing monitor
Hi all, thanks in advance- I have Vegas pro 19, which I purchased to upgrade from the 16 specifically because it offered screen capture function. But when I run it, the only video option available is the camera (in the monitor) and the monitor

RE: Cleaning up source VHS video data, noise, frame slipping etc -
@g4bee I will second Jeff's comments re noise reduction using Neat Video: it is amazing. I have experimented with denoising with Virtual Dub and seen some brilliant efforts of others using AVISynth, but for ease of use, Neat Video is the way to go.

RE: Aspect Ratio and Movie name problems
@clement5 Hi . . . . The 5:4 ratio is not technically a discrepancy as 720x576 is the standard PAL size for DVDs which on the old TVs would be interpreted as 4:3. The same thing is true of 720x480NTSC 3:2. . . . . The interpretation of the AR for

Cleaning up source VHS video data, noise, frame slipping etc -
Movie Edit Pro premium V20.0.1.73 Windows 10 on an Intel I7 with 16GB RAM. Bit of a long shot but ... I'm digitising some very old VHS tapes [PAL] which are not in brilliant condition having been badly stored but they aren't going to get any

Thanks @CubeAce, I appreciate your time and efforts. I spent today performing a factory reset on my old HP Pavilion g6, putting it back to Win8, installed Pinnacle and captured the same VHS tape I've spent weeks trying to capture with Magix. It

@rickduley Hi Rick. First, if it were me, I would go to the nvidia website and search physically for the latest driver for your nvidia card. If it is out of date that could be the problem. Do not rely on automatic updates to give you the latest

RE: Aspect Ratio and Movie name problems
@johnebaker John, all my VHS captures have been 5:4. In MEP 2022, (as I have said above) you get black pillarboxing of that 5:4 file unless you click "Original Size" in Size and Position Rotation. Then the file displays correctly and will export

@David-Roxburgh For capture, I would suggest you use S-video; better capture quality, I have found.

@CubeAce The quality of transfers from tapes recorded in the eighties would be close to being unusable now due to degrading magnetic flux or glue bindings between substrate and tape. Ray, not true at all. Many of us are still happily transferring

@David-Roxburgh Hi Switching to using Movie Edit Pro (MEP) actually gives you a feature that may fix the issue. Capture to DVD format using MEP. With the recording on the Timeline right click it and select Create (new) frame table and save the

@David-Roxburgh I believe @johnebaker has given you the answer to your problem. However, Do you capture from composite/S-Video? If so, what do you use - I'd be happy to switch! Yes, via Composite, but using Movie Edit Pro and/or Video Pro X or,

@David-Roxburgh Hi Looking through the screenshots - the recording format DVD is most likely the cause of the issue. DVD = MPG which can be notorious for losing audio/video sync, I do not believe Video Easy has the option to Create a new frametable

@clement5 @johnebaker There seems to be something odd going on here with MEP 2022 (on my other computer). MEP2021 seems to import a 720x576 5:4 video into a 4:3 movie correctly: Whereas MEP 2022 doesn't import it correctly. When "Movie Size" is
