RE: .Mov Files Won't Load
@martin-brennan I have no idea how to reply to that Martin as on the whole my setup runs without problems. The only time I seem to suffer a crash is if I leave the computer to shut itself down after an MP4 export, and that could be down to MEP

RE: Transferring DVD's
@CubeAce, @Stefan-Trngren Hi Ray File converters are OK, and making backup copies of CDs and downloaded music for personal use is allowed as is recording live TV. It is the act of ripping out the DRM from protected commercial discs that is illegal,

RE: Transferring video to USB flash drive
@bobthevideoman Hi Bob. I was afraid of that 😬. Then it becomes a bit trickier. Not all TVs are equal when it comes to file formats that will play on them so you may need to get the manuals out for the intended TV to find that out and what screen

RE: Transferring video to USB flash drive
@bobthevideoman Hi Bob. First question. Why would you deliberately want to reduce the quality of the video by going from 4K down to HD? Second. How will the file then be used? Will it be to play back on a computer or plugged into a USB port on a TV

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2021 is out - New features
Glad to hear you got similar results. Veering off topic a bit, I've been using Handbrake to compress my TV Movies to HEVC. It looks like Vicoder does the same thing. Advantages over Handbrake? As a side note (swerving back on topic), there is

As an example I have been trying to transfer tv commercials from 25 year old tv shows. It's still showing just the blue screen but sound is working fine no matter what I try to play. Is it supposed to pick on signal from a dvd when using a scart

RE: video not burning on hd
@Kevin-Finneman Hi Kevin. If you need to commit to discs then your best bet is to record to Blu-ray that will allow HD to be recorded. Unfortunately that would mean two Blu-ray devices. The only other way would be to put a file onto a memory stick

Create slideshow in 16:9 format ... I've done something wrong!
Over the last few days, I've taken loads of photos on my iPhone SE 2020, all in 16:9 format. I've just created a slideshow using these photos but in the finished project the photos don't fill my 16:9 tv screen. I'm wondering what I've done wrong
