RE: Does Magix Photostory Deluxe 10 have video editting capabilities?
Hi, I don't have your version of PhotoStory, only 2013. In this version it is easy to remove the audio that is with the video. Go to timeline mode. Right-click on the video, select Audio and waveform display, Remove audio object. You may have

RE: Pro X 6 : can the RGB Parade and Vectorscope be user-resized or are they always a fixed fraction of the available screen?
I couldn't find any control (or combination) that would allow me control over where black was set. I could indeed modify the darkest grey step, but not the black level.  This image may make it clearer; you have to set the monitor display and the

RE: How to do a Audio Wave Video
And for a litle fun and after a little bit of thinking about it, in Magix Video Pro X6 there is a waveform display. I captured it, brought it onto the timeline and superimposed the dancer. The waveform is generated by the music. I used some chroma

    RE: Puzzle: No visible waveform
Hi Terry, I imported your mp3 and I see the waveform very well. Did MEP create H0 and HDP files for this clip? If so, did you try deleting them and creating the waveform anew? Regards,

    Puzzle: No visible waveform
This audio clip https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4019461/Walking-SDW-1.MP3 is perfectly audible, and when played on the MEP 2014 timeline sounds just as loud as the other clips. Yet strangely even at maximum height it shows no waveform,

RE: How to do a Audio Wave Video
I'd just capture (record) the audio and video while playing the music in a player like WMP, VLC, Media Monkey, WinAmp, etc, with its visualisation feature enabled and suitably configured to suit you. Personally I wouldn't display a basic audio

RE: Create waveform - not displayed
Thanks both. John E: Neat tip about deleting the associated HO and HDP. On re-importing the troublesome MP4 it was then possible to create the waveform. With Automatically create proxy files enabled, you get the waveform anyway. The reasons

RE: Create waveform - not displayed
Hi Terry and John, I have had the same problem often and meekly accepted this as something I must have done wrong. In the middle of the project, if I wanted a waveform on a previously imported clip, I could sometimes not get the waveform. The

RE: Create waveform - not displayed
Hi Terry Why export as mp4 ? IMHO it is better to export from the previous projects as mxv, the native MEP format. The only time I have seen this happen is when one of the videos already has the waveform displayed but it is difficult to see

    Create waveform - not displayed
I'm stumped. On my MEP 2014 timeline I have two MP4 videos, with audio, in tracks 1 and 2. Both were exported in the same way from similar small projects. But I cannot use Create waveform on one of them, as that menu item does not appear in the

RE: Is there a way to avoid "lost ASIO buffers" ?
I activated the ASIO driver that came with MAGIX Music Maker 2014 for the first time today. In recent days I loaded up DirectX 10 which I didn't have before, thinking it would improve sound handling. It didn't stop a bunch of VST/VITA sounds

Hi Automatic synchronising is more difficult with speech because there are no distinctive beats or sharp sounds to match. The manual method as shown in the tutorials should work OK with speech once you have the audio waveforms displayed. John

There seem to be some problems within VPX6 and its Measuring Instruments that are hard to define.  As though it is reading / displaying the 0-255 and 16-235 colour space flags incorrectly. 1.  It imports DSLR footage incorrectly - the blacks are

Thanks John, I'm actually working with the Waveform Monitor, too.  I see that has two settings: 1.  Dotted Lines 0 at bottom and 255 at top. 2.  Hard Lines 0 - 100 between the dotted lines. My understanding is that black level 16 is the

Sync issue between Sound and display of Wave file
I have a wave file I imported into ACL MX.   When I go to choose a place in the middle of the recording the waveform displayed does not match the audio being played.  How can I fix this.  I tried the demo of 2013 and the same thing is happening.

RE: HOW DO9ES MAGIX SAVE AUDIO FILES?
Gentlemen, When you record using ACL, an audio file is created. For the location, on the top menu click on Options, Path settings. See below. When you click on the red record button, the record parameter screen opens. See the image below.

    Rec 709 16-235 in Video Pro X6
Just wondering how to use the Measuring Instruments in VPX6 for Broadcast  range of 16 - 235? I understand that Rec 709 is 0-255 for Web, and perhaps for DVD, Blu-ray,  etc. But I've read that Rec 709 must be set to 16-255 for Broadcast.
