  @Juraj-Majcher Hi When you drag a folder containing images/video onto the Photostory timeline/storyboard, it will load only the images in that folder, subfolder scanning/loading is not a feature of the program. John EBForum Moderator

  @jon-cooper As @johnebaker wrote a MXV file ... is Magix's custom video file format (my bolding). In other words, it is a proprietary Magix format, playable only in RYVT, Photostory, Movie Edit Pro or Video Pro X. HTH JeffForum Moderator
