  No the mixer needs to have a feature that allows you to listen to the recorded tracks and your vocal mic without sending the ‘music back’ to record on the new vocal track. Look for the mix control DAW(PLAYBACK) vs. INPUT(MIC). You dont need EQ or

  acid pro 365 freezes up

  I looked up the Pyle mixer and unfortuantely that is your problem. The Pyle is a DJ/Live mixer not capable of doing a stereo headphone 'playback' mix independent of the input of your mic back into the computer. Ideally you'll need a different mixer

  Hi...Thanks everyone.... I found out how to do it. For anyone else that would like to know, you can contact me but here is a quick explanation. Put your video that has both tracks on your timeline. Ungroup it and you end up with a video and audio

  Hi, They are probably for stereo, which means 1 track, 2 channels (left and right). First, make sure that you have video and audio on separate tracks, like 1 and 2 (you should have this set by in the Program settings all of the time, IMHO). Ungroup

  @dpewit Try opening the sound mixer and see how many tracks are adding audio. You can then track the offending audio from there.

  @dpewit You have it wrong. All audio tracks not muted will play. All overlapping soundtracks will play together at once. You either need to delete the offending audio clips or control the output by automating the sound mixer. Sorry, I haven' t got
