  How do I get a full refund now, or how can I get it to work as advertised? I just bought this last weekend, within the 14 day refund period. I have searched for days, and cannot find any legitimate tutorials on how to locate the various instruments

  @kevin-whitney For software instruments realtime monitoring you have to activate the following options: ASIO driver system; ASIO software monitoring or FX monitoring; input monitoring (REC M). To solve this problem you need to use an ASIO driver.

  @emmrecs ASIO4ALL didn't do it for me (I still got error messages when I tried to use a plug-in), and in trying to resolve those errors I've apparently fiddled with the Samplitude settings so egregiously that I've disabled all sound. Will be off

  I have read on another DAW's forum that the Realtek’s ASIO implementation is not quote written as well as it could be.I don't use Samplitude Pro x6, but what I would do is either:Get yourself an audio interface that comes with proper ASIO drivers.

  Had the same issue on a new win 11 PC. Installed Sound Forge and Vegas Pro 19. Mp3 on both apps would not play. Doing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ASIO > Magix Low Latency 2016 etc... as described above. Fixed the problem with Pro 19.

  @hugh-Janice Maybe the Magix Low Latency Driver is incompatible with your cable. You could still try the other drivers and see if they will work. If you don't use ASIO in Music Maker or other Magix softwares you will not get realtime monitoring
