  also i dont think im savvy enough to do swap windows back and forth like you suggest. You don't switch Windows back and forth. Right click on the program icon for the program you are trying to run, select properties, choose the compatibility tab

  @Robert-Woolcock It still takes about five minutes for Acid Pro 10 to start after computer shut down. What happens if you reboot instead of shutting down the computer? Does it help if you run ACID in Windows 8 compatibility mode?

  I didn't realize my google chrome doesn't have windows 10, I used my code then it stated not compatible. I then purchased a small laptop with windows 10. Now I can't reuse my activation code, nor get an email reply from support. HELP!!!
