  Sorry, I just have Music Maker 15, and I'm not much of an expert, but here is something you might want to try. First of all, what are you recording with? I use a USB microphone (it's actually for Rock Band, haha!) that plugs right in to my laptop.

  I have some midi drum loops I want to use in Magix but I can't seem to import/load them. The instructions say you can do this by File\load/import\load midi file... or even just drag and drop but neither of these seem to work. Any ideas?

  Hi, What program are you really using? Music Maker 12 Deluxe or Audio Studio? These are two very different programs? Since you mention VIP files, I assume it might in fact be Audio Studio. In this case, you can add tracks via the "Track" menu
