RE: Portrait clip on top of portrait clip, Size/Position/Rotation is weird
@Former user @johnebaker Hi to you both. I do not have any portrait taken footage to test but turning landscape images into portrait by rotation I cannot replicate this behaviour. Perhaps the orientation metadata of a portrait shot is not being read

RE: A query relating to slideshows
@me_again Hi Andy. I've just noticed the original file was taken in 2008 and presumably has been edited as the file size is so small and the quality setting of 68% is unusual. Quality settings normally increase in different percentage numbers to

    A query relating to slideshows
Greetings This is really a continuance of my post nearly half way down this page https://www.magix.info/us/forum/release-movie-edit-pro-2022-your-experiences-your-movies--1281607/ which is the original post about MEP 2022. I was going to post this

@cedric-cornelis, @Patrick-Hallowell Hi To avoid issues with mobile phone footage what works for me is to use the correct orientation so that the rotation flag that is added to the video file by some, though not all, devices is 0. In the case of my

@johnebaker @browj2 @Former user Hi John EB. I get it in my mind now. Have yet to experiment with it. It clicked when I realized in the publicity blurb they referred to it as a 3D effect. Thinking about it as a 3D effect it makes sense and also how

@DesertSweeper Hi I too have tested your video clip - the MediaInfo data does show the Orientation flag is set correctly: Width                                    : 2 704 pixelsHeight                                   : 1 520 pixelsDisplay aspect

@browj2 Hi John . . . . BTW, you have to use Z axis to rotate the clip, not X. . . . . Normally that is correct and is the method @DesertSweeper linked to and tried, . . . . however In the other thread he resolves his issue (rendering upside down)

@DesertSweeper Hi, I use GoPro Quik for importing from my Hero 5. I just connect the GoPro to my computer, Quik opens to the Import page, my settings are already there, so I just click on Import Files. When done I Delete All from the GoPro, then I

@DesertSweeper Hi, Which GoPro? I have GoPro Hero 5 and do upside down videos often. I have no problems with the orientation in MEP2021 or VPX12. Your problem may be associated with the GoPro, not the editing program. Check on the GoPro forum if

So I have been focusing on my Movie Edit Pro (Premium V17) and really started enjoying it - it works well and is actually really easy to grasp afterall. Buuut there is one big problem with it (and my equal version of VPX) - most of my footage is

@Craig-LaFond Hi and welcome to the forum Are the images from a mobile phone? If so this is a common problem depending on the make/model of phone. You need to rotate the images 90 degrees left or right to correct the orientation. As we do not know

@Brent If you like the object oriented editing of Music Maker you could check out the free demo version of Samplitude Music Studio. It has much better MIDI editing features, less bugs and runs a lot more stable. I read that Cubase has very good MIDI

RE: [RELEASE] Movie Edit Pro 2022 - Your Experiences. Your Movies.
@me_again Hi Andy. A lot of the high end Pro effects rely of CPU processing more than dedicated graphics cards. Boris Effects, most of their plugins rely on CPU grunt and lots of ram. It's possibly easier to program for a CPU than competing shading

@johnebaker Patch 19.0.1.107 Size/Position seems to work better but look at the keyframe area below: The horizontal scroll bar has gone wonky. There should be keyframes on X and Y Scale. Strangely, when I added a bit of levelling under Orientation,
