I JUST PURCHASED and now it won't let me register. When I log in, it says already registered, but my pc will not get past the register and activate screen. I'm stuck in a loop and this makes me angry. HELP!!!

Hi @GoneToMaui, one perpetual license can activate Sound Forge 16 on two (2) separate PCs simultaneously, for instance your desktop and laptop PCs.The Sound Forge '365' subscription version can only be activated on on (1) device at a time.

[Solved] Unable to register

after pasting in serial number, from email, green ticks appear ok. But unable to register. box says 'online connection could not be estableished. Ive reset and restarted pc win10, makes no difference. any ideas. im a muso, not a techy, so easy steps

Did you restart the PC, I have had newly installed plug-ins become available after restating the PC.btw, shutting down and rebooting is different than the restart process @SP. has stated in other threads.

@CubeAce, @Gid Hi Ray, Gid I have rechecked on my PC and the Sorenson file will import, however it takes a ~25 secs before anything appears on the timeline and no audio, which is mp3 format and not normally found in modern 'standard' video file

My audio interface is a Roland Rubix 24. It's ASIO, multiclient (I have it set on the SF18 audio settings). Running 24 bit .wav 48kHz samples, not converting, just normalize. Windows 10 PC latest update. Have you tried something other than the above

That's the challenge, VDL creates the folders in One Drive\Verner -Personal\Documents\MAGIX Every time it is started, even if I have moved/changed them. But it is necessary that I have One Drive on my PC without VDL creating folders there.

I uninstalled the program and removed all folders and registry entries related to Magix. I re-installed and it still closed before finishing. I restarted the PC and it worked.
