RE: Samplitude Pro X8 doesn't play in RemotePC
@sfcprw Samplitude probably uses an ASIO driver. This can be selected in the audio device settings inside the Samplitude system settings. ASIO drivers circumvent the Windows audio pipeline to decrease latency. It depends on the ASIO driver itself,

RE: No sound on VST instruments
@Campbell-McMahan Ok. Have you tried restarting the computer? Please select the Restart option and not the Shut down option, otherwise it might not help. If you cannot select the ASIO driver after restarting, there could be a more severe problem.

RE: MP3 files skipping / glitching when opened ...
@Bill-Fike You might want to uninstall the Magix Low Latency audio driver included in Sound Forge Audio Studio. This is an old version of ASIO4ALL and it's known that it will create problems for some users, but not for everyone. Usually, you'll get

RE: Audio Preferences
Maybe I should have given more detail. Under preferences/audio in Music Studio a few of the choices show WASAPI and/or ASIO but in Pro X only ASIO WDM and MME even though Magix says Pro supports WASAPI. Does the new Studio X8 support WASAPI?

RE: Audio Preferences
@VWC As far as I know, old Music Studio versions have a different audio engine compared to Samplitude. They are identical since Music Studio X8. You can select WASAPI if you use Music Maker ASIO or Flex ASIO in Samplitude.

@Alex-Kirkwood The lower the buffer the more likely you'll hear clicks and pops due to lost samples. You can get an ASIO capable external USB audio interface which takes over the audio processing from the CPU. This is recommended for music
