RE: Decompressing gopro footage
@emmrecs Hi Jeff, You are quite correct and thanks for pointing this out. The audio is terribly distorted in VPX11 on both of my computers. I had noticed this on a couple of GoPro clips recently (1080p) and thought that it was my camera acting up. I

RE: VPX11 released today - Comments
HI, I just got back from 2 weeks of camping so I'll try to catch up on the bug list in the next day or two. I can confirm that Auto Exposure and Colour Correction do not work on videos. I tried some GoPro video files and photos - nothing happens

RE: Hit a snag using Osmo Pocket with MEP/VPX
I regularly shoot multi cams for weddings and stage shows using Panasonic FZ1000s in 4k and 4k Gopro clones. There are sometimes small gaps between files, but I overcome that quite easily by using the audio synch facility to synch the audio from the

RE: GoPro Hero 7 - hissing noise instead of sound
Thank you John, but no, there is no "All in one" codec pack installed on my system, and audio functions doesn't include an "Restore original sound option" in my MEP 2016 PLUS anyway. Interestingly MEP 2018 - I just installed the free trial version on

RE: GoPro Hero 7 - hissing noise instead of sound
Hi again. Thanks for the additional information. I see the audio in the file uses the AAC LC codec. The fact that you cannot hear the correct audio seems to suggest that codec is missing from your computer. I also see that one entry says "GoProAAC",

RE: GoPro Hero 7 - hissing noise instead of sound
@Christian-Rinke This works, but it sucks that Magix can't read MP4 correctly ;-( I would agree wholeheartedly, if that were always true, but it isn't! mp4 files can be and are successfully played back in MEP, but mp4 is a "container" format, the
