  Hi Jack '....I use a portable harddrive ....' Was this drive formatted in a different computer or different Windows version and you are using Windows 7? - if so this could be the problem and need to reset the permissions with your computer -

  Harddrive
  PC Check only gives a model number for harddrive when reporting issues.  I have four harddrives of the same model, so ther is no way to tell which drive it is reporting.  Reason??  Fix??

  I have no experiences with this, but the normal way is to use a card reader, or connect the camera with a USB-cable and copy the files to the harddrive in your computer. You should find the the camera in Windows Explorer. I guess you need

  I like to use the MagixPro 15 plus but it won't see my JVC DV camera.

  Have you tried resetting soundpools? Are your soundpools on another drive? I haven't had any stability issues with Music Maker 14-16, MEP14 and 16, Samplitude, etc. - but I have a pretty dedicated system with very few background processes
