RE: Movie Studio Edit 18 exporting in non "standard" frame rates.
@Dennis-Berry @AAProds @johnebaker @browj2 Hi Denis. Did you try to change the settings as shown in my first image of my second reply and use the avi codec for export? Sometimes a bit of experimentation is called for. The problem I have found with

@Dennis-Berry @AAProds @browj2 Hi Al. Just out of curiosity I did try again armed with your new information. I was not too involved in the quality settings, I just wanted to produce a working video. Without altering any of my program settings other

RE: Importing AVI Files Doesn't Do Anything.
@WilliamJCadet Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. Unfortunately, .AVI is a "container" format, as is "mp4". This means that the actual codecs used for the creation and subsequent playback of those files can vary considerably! It is more than

RE: Can't play HEVC (hvc1) files in Video Pro X?
Hi Everyone It looks like this may be a bug in VPX 12 and possibly VPX 11 The sample file @wkuk provided and all the 10 bit files I have, with 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 format, want the AVI-Intra codec despite the files have a 'normal' GOP structure. I tested

RE: Mini DV AVI Smart Render? and Questions about BM Output possible?
@emmrecs @PATIENT-X @Beardeboss My understanding is that SR can function only with totally unchanged/unedited/untrimmed footage. Or am I completely wrong (quite likely)? You are Jeff (as suspected). There are two possibilities with H.264 encoding

RE: Mini DV AVI Smart Render? and Questions about BM Output possible?
@Beardeboss @emmrecs In VirtualDub for example you can do framebyframe editing, and use option smart rendering with fast recompress. That will recompress only the frames around the edited parts. But, you are required to select the same codec that

@NEldridge Hello, Welcome Yes you can only drag and drop one avi track. What does the actual error say? Looks like a codec issue. Have you tried downloading the free K-Lite codec pack to see if that helps? Forum Moderator
