RE: Reorder Audio/video tracks in Moview Studio 2022 Suite?
@ericlnz Hi Eric, As a user of Vegas and other consumer software I've never had reason to dream about such a feature. What purpose does it serve? On occasions that I've played with a MEP trial I tried the multiple timelines but couldn't see any use

RE: Video does not appear.
@Neil-McPherson, @AAProds Hi . . . . why it won't open in VE is a mystery . . . . AFAICS the MP4 container file format is not a supported by Video Easy. The supported formats that I can find are: (DV-)AVI, M2TS, MJPEG, MKV, MOV, MXV, VOB, WMV. Given

RE: Video Pro X12
@AAProds Hi, Here is an old listing of most of the features of VPX that I can think of that are over and above MEP Plus/Premium. There are duplications with the Magix comparison table, of course as there was no comparison table when I did this.

RE: Error burning DVD
@Leo-Hendriks Hi . . . . The error is only with DVD, burning a Blue-ray works fine, without errors. . . . That would rule out any edits made on the timeline. I have been experimenting with various formats of AVI file and manged to produce one

RE: Could not connect to selected device
@Gita-Lalezari Back from golf. Yes me too. I set my camera to HDV and tried to capture HDV with MEP; it displays "Cannot connect to selected device" with "Canon HV 20 HDV" in the Device Driver window. I assume that MEP's HDV capture is

RE: Could not connect to selected device
@Gita-Lalezari Ah ha. Same as mine (I have an HV20). Have your captured your video in DV or HDV? You can tell which format by playing the tape and checking the top of the LCD: it will say DV or HDV. If it is HDV, you'll need to use the "HDV camera"

Thanks for your reply. It seems like even WinDV is giving me issues. It does not want to recognize Microsoft Dv Recorder. It only shows the Cannon mini dv. Any suggestions on how I can tackle this problem? I appreciate it. Thank you. Gita

@Gita-Lalezari Great stuff Gita. Glad you're up and running. I actually fixed one of my own problems during all that. Another program I use to capture DV, WinDV, stopped working a while back but is now working again with the latest Firewire

@Gita-Lalezari Welcome to MEP. I hooked up my Canon HV20 to check MEP 2021 (unfortunately I don't have MEP 2022 on a firewire computer). On the DV Recording screen, "Canon HV20" briefly flashed up but then the DV Device Driver box showed "Microsoft

@CarpentersMate one reason to create MPEGs from a source VOB, is merely a suggestion to 'categorize' or divide/separate where too many VOB's could become confusing or too large? Correct? Correct. one should 'edit' straight off the original VOB, as

@Philippe-Smetryns No, you can't import that footage as mp4, sorry! The default for DV Recording is, as you say, AVI or, more correctly, DV-AVI. There is a small box on the screen which John shows, immediately below the "DV Camera" box, labelled
