  @Tony-Haack Hi Tony. Sorry for the late reply. My solution was to use the 5.1 mixer to pan each isolated side of the stereo track to the centre which worked within the project until I exported the result and then like you trying the @browj2 method

  Thanks for this Adam-Dorval. Very frustrating, isn't it. Removing panning helped with my file, and I re-added panning once rendering had been completed. However, all the tracks were panned hard left or right so it wasn't difficult to put it back.
