RE: Movie Studio - Why so finnicky? An unknown error has occurred
To be sure, yes there was no audio in that specific shared file, sorry. It may be that the source system is just very old (10+ years), which is contributing to issues, but I will experiment further. There are no graphics hardware encoder options

    RE: Uploading YouTube video
@Nani425 If we're talking about UPloading to YT, here are my tips: -Upscale your videos to at least 1440 eg 2560x1440 16:9 or 1920x1440 4:3 and YT will encode your videos in the better VP9 codec (that is for MP4/H264, don't know about MPEG 2, which

@johnebaker h.264 and h.265, which are of the same codec family to which you can also add x.264 and x.265 and AVC (a subset of h.264) codecs. John, x264 is not a codec; it is the name of a particular encoding engine. It produces AVC/H264 MPEG-4

@ghijohansson I downloaded your ZIP. None of the files where "m2ts" per se, as you say, are AVC with AC-3 audio. Using "trailer 4", which is 25fps interlaced, Top Field first, I opened it in Magix Movie Studio 2025. I changed the movie settings to

@ghijohansson Hi. No, it will be a separate account as Magix in its infinite wisdom chose to keep the original users site separate when it bought the program from Sony. [Edit] As @Reyfox says, you can use the same email and password. It would be

Whist both files declare themselves as interlaced they are actually 25 fps progressive. I don't agree. Yes, the "Deinterlaced" 00059 file is deinterlaced; as Eric says, 25 fps Progressive. You can see this if you create a 50fps movie in Magix, add

John, Please find MediaInfo on the original VOB file. I am unfamiliar with this app, and I dont know if it means anything, however: In Media info, it posts the "Duration" for the file, video and audio as 5:59. Yet when I import the VOB into Movie

@donjen33 Hi . . . .  chose MPEG-2 as the format so I’m now wondering if I should’ve chosen H.264 . . . . H.264 is the standard codec for burning Blu-Ray. While MPEG-2 is supported, and occassionally used for its alleged better quality video, though

@Gra_Ham Well done on the MediaInfo. The video codec is "MPEG 4 Visual", which is unusual. The framerate is also unusual at 30.068. Lastly, the audio might be causing issues, being Joint Stereo. A recode may be needed to get it to open in Magix. VLC

I'm trying to add songs and I'm getting an error message that the file is not supported. The file is an MPEG-4 downloaded from Apple. I've used the exact same files in the past and never had issues. Did something change for Photostory Deluxe 2024?

@jak.willis But if the content was broadcasted deinterlaced, how can it be fixed? As I said in post 2. Try exporting it as MPEG 2. It will be re-interlaced. Whether that will actually improve the viewing experience, only you will be able to
