@Tom_Sp @Christiaan-Deliaert @emmrecs Hi Tom This is something that has to be looked into as there are still ongoing issues in sales and communication. Could you please have your team look into Christians problem? Thank you Stephen Forum Moderator

    RE: Imported audio crackling
@christianf7 Hi Christian. Have you right clicked the file and set the tack to 0dB and then checked the audio mixer is just .01 down off of zero and then enabled the limiter in the master sliders? Are you running more than a few audio tracks? If so,

    RE: Stuck cursor
Many thanks JohnEB, I really appreciate your help. I rolled back the computer to a reset point and it fixed it, but if this happens again I will keep a copy of your suggestion and do that first. I am really grateful that you and Jeff have taken such

@Chrilles @Scenestealer @emmrecs @johnebaker @pmikep@pmikep Hi Christian. Just for you I have turned off as much HWA as I can. However within the MEP settings it is impossible to not have the Intel GPU showing within the setup menu if the system has

Hi all, Have you tried to export the movie (TestProject) when all HW acceleration is disabled? That would probably be the most equivalent/comparable export to my export because I don't have any Intel HW. Regards,Christian

@Chrilles @Scenestealer @emmrecs @johnebaker @terrypin Hi Peter. Hi John. Hi Christian. This just gets curiouser and curiouser. First though I forgot to mention this for Christian. If the Hardware acceleration gets disabled, at the end of the export

@Chrilles Hi Christian. Where did you get the idea there would be a boost in rendering times exporting an MP4 fie? Ray.

    RE: Deadlock
Hi, The easiest way to get the deadlock, as far as I know, is to export the whole TestProject with the same settings as I have. Sometimes I have to try several times to get the deadlock! Ofcourse you have to have exactly the same version of MEP as I

    RE: Deadlock
@Chrilles Hi Christian. OK. Yes I have MEP 2021 but previously ran MEP 2020 with no problems until I upgraded. I have run every version since 2018. So why have you chosen an export resolution of 1280 x 720 when your mov file is 1920 x 1280 and not

Hi Ray, This is just a dummy-project to the text is just lots of "text".Let's focus on TestProject.MVP and the deadlock problem. This is my export settings: I see some differences here. 1. I run MEP 2020, Version 19.0.2.49 (not 2021 as you run

@Chrilles Hi Christian. I have now tried TestProject2.MVP and still no crashes but I did get the "Hardware acceleration has been deactivated.........". warning while exporting along the second length of text. After which whatever I did could not

    RE: Deadlock
Hi Christian. I downloaded the files and just ran Test Project.MVP. Exported to MP4 saved project. Shut down MEP 2021. The export took 12minutes 31 secs at the videos' own resolution and frame rate. Hardware acceleration is fully activated. I

    RE: Deadlock
@Chrilles Hi Christian. I don't think there are many other things to check. System Page file settings not set too high or low? If you left that alone then it's probably OK. System overclock? Editing programs do not like overclocking. At least mine

Hi Ray, The project is not very big. I've reduced the amount of tracks to minimum (4 tracks). One video track, one for sound, one for text and one is empty. The length is about 30 minutes. Regards,Christian

    RE: Deadlock
@Chrilles @emmrecs @johnebaker Hi Christian. How long are these projects? According to John EB who is quite knowledgable about MEP in general, MEP and VPX have a project limit of around a million frames at which point if the project exceeds that it

Hi Ray, As mention, I have only my Nikon videos in this project and this is not a crash, it's a deadlock. When it happens, I have to kill the application using Windows taskmanager because the application does not respond. Jeff: In general it works

    RE: Deadlock
@Chrilles Hi Christian. Stupid me. I don't know where I got the impression that DSC was Canon. I should know as I have a D500. Then that is odd as I don't have any problems with my D500 video files in MEP. Looking back at your earlier post, the

    RE: Deadlock
@Chrilles Hi Christian. The file extension DSC suggests to me a Canon Camera. Is that the case? We have seen another user that had these problems with the files from a Pro Canon camera quite a few months back I think it was the newest Pro full frame

    RE: Deadlock
Hi Ray, Unfortunately this hang is not caused by the mobile phone videos. I created a new project and I had only video clips from a pro-camera (like DSC_8509_910C39D7.MOV above) and added some .wav-files and some scrolling text. After beeing working

    RE: Deadlock
@Chrilles Hi Christian. It's not a bug. It's an unsupported file variance of an established codec made to be compatible only with support of the manufacturer of the hardware. It's a well known problem and few video editing packages outside of Adobe

    RE: Deadlock
@Chrilles Hi Christian. The codecs that produce these files are not standard variants of the codec but specifically changed by the manufacturers of either the software involved for a particular phone and designed to be used on the phone or edited
