RE: Glow/Luminance on white shirts (VHS-MP4)
@Rickvv Hi Rick. Yes you are probably correct unless you could access the RGB channels from the VHS machine. Even then if the camera that shot it was working with stage lighting, the dynamic range of the lighting would probably have been too great a

@me_again Hi Andy Welcome to the 'Dark Side' . . . . I've scanned using Chroma Subsampling YUV 4:4:4 . . . . This sounds like you are scanning to jpg image, ie a lossy compressed format, is this correct? What scanner settings are you using

@Gid Hi Gid. I don't even have a video editor open when I change a still image. If you have ever used a pre-render on the timeline (My guess is you haven't ever needed to) then the changes are not shown as what you are seeing is the playback of a

@Gid @Lisa-Walter Hi Gid. While I agree with your other two points if the source files are only jpgs, they should not be a problem in themselves. I regularly use full sized jpegs that are over 15MB each and have no trouble with stuttering or

Hello Jeff. Thank you for the reply. I am using Photostory 2023. My photo's are in the tiff format. The audio is in wav format. On returning home I have tried it again, and the codec problem has disappeared. So maybe operator error. I now have

The crash happens when I try to change the folder in the explorer. I like to keep the "working files" (psd, tiff, 50-100MB) in the same folder. Could that explain the issue? It just freezes without warning. won't close. I need to end the program

My ageing copy of Photoshop can't open my newer cameras raw files. I have to open them in another program and transfer them to Photoshop as 16 bit tiff files if I wish to work on them in Photoshop. Luckily that is very rare I need to. @CubeAce Hi,

@Henrique-GomesCoe @me_again @johnebaker @AAProds Hi Al. The way I see it, it's got nothing to do with monitor settings/calibration. I don't disagree with that but it could be a difference in your physical monitors panel type or ambient light on the

@SP. and @browj2 - Many thanks for your replies. I do indeed get the 101 error. I tried using the 32-bit version instead, but then when running Auto Cleaning and some other functions I received new error messages that I suspect were memory related.

RE: "Wrong" 4:3 images should have been 16:9 to fil TV screen
@Reyfox Hi. Shooting images of video at 16:9 compared to 4:3 only chops the top and bottom of the image so effectively is not a lower resolution. It would still have the same amount of photo-sites per mm. You could argue that shooting stills in raw

@Former user Hi Gid. There is only ever one reason I very occasionally use a tiff file. All three of my DSLR cameras shoot tiff as a native format and the image files are a direct readout from the camera sensors and therefore are 16 bit colour
